In yet another chapter of the ongoing genocide against Palestinian civilians, the Israeli occupation forces have continued their intensive bombing campaign across the Gaza Strip. Since the early hours of Monday, at least 34 Palestinians, including children and displaced persons, have been killed, and dozens more injured in varying degrees.
According to medical sources, three Palestinians were killed in a strike on the town of Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Younis, while a woman was shot dead by Israeli occupation soldiers in the Al-Mawasi area west of the city.
In the Netzarim corridor in central Gaza, three more Palestinians were killed by Israeli occupation fire, one of whom succumbed to earlier injuries. A separate airstrike on the Jabir family home in Al-Bureij refugee camp killed a couple and their daughter and left several others wounded.
A drone strike also targeted a displacement tent next to the outpatient clinic at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, resulting in direct casualties.
In the north, a drone attack killed a Palestinian near Abu Iskandar junction in Sheikh Radwan, injuring others. In Al-Zaytoun neighbourhood, two people were killed in an airstrike, while a pregnant woman and her two children were killed in a strike on the Murad family home near Al-Shati camp.
Additional air raids killed five displaced people on Al-Nafaq Street, four members of the Dabbash family in Sheikh Radwan, and a couple and their child near Al-Sahaba Hospital in central Gaza. Another person was killed in a tent for displaced persons in Al-Shati camp, and more injuries were reported following a strike on a flat near Al-Qouqa roundabout.
Alongside the targeting of civilians, Israeli occupation continues its campaign of systematic destruction of infrastructure. In Al-Zaytoun, military vehicles rigged with explosives were used to demolish homes and facilities, while intense airstrikes hit Al-Shujaiya, reflecting a clear policy of flattening residential areas and depriving residents of any viable living environment.
International humanitarian law explicitly prohibits the targeting of civilians, homes, hospitals, and displacement shelters, classifying such acts as war crimes. However, the Israeli occupation continues to target the most vulnerable, children, women, and the displaced, turning this from a military offensive into a campaign of genocide aimed at eradicating Palestinian existence.
Since 7 October 2023, Israeli occupation has waged a genocidal war on Gaza, with direct US support, encompassing killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, defying international appeals and the orders of the International Court of Justice to stop the war.
To date, this war has resulted in 63,557 deaths and 160,660 injuries—most of them women and children, along with over 9,000 missing persons and hundreds of thousands of displaced people facing deadly famine that has claimed the lives of 348 Palestinians, including 127 children.
The repeated daily atrocities, including the bombing of homes, hospitals, and shelters, leave no doubt: what is taking place is a deliberate, organised genocide, aimed at uprooting Palestinian society and dismantling all means of survival, under the watchful silence of the international community.
