On Wednesday, June 22, 2022, the Israeli occupation demolished two houses, a store, walls, and a stable of horses in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.
The IOF stormed Al -Issawiya town and demolished a house and a paddock, claiming that it was illegally built. Likewise, and with the same claims, the IOF demolished a car repair store in Anata town and threw sound bombs to disperse residents who gathered to stop the demolition.
The occupation forces also destroyed a house under construction belonging to the Palestinian prisoner, Barakat Al -Khawaja, in Naalin, west of Ramallah.
Furthermore, eight Palestinians from Jalboun, in the West Bank, received decisions by the occupation to stop the construction, and another Palestinian received an order to demolish his own house within 96 hours.
Recently, the IOF increased its settlement activities by demolishing 317 Palestinian homes in Jerusalem only in 2021, under claims of lacking a construction warranty, despite paying thousands of dollars to extract these warranties. It also bans the construction or land reclamation in areas under its control in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
Since the beginning of the current year, more than 300 Palestinian buildings have been demolished or seized in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
