Amidst its relentless 93-day assault on the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation army continues to perpetrate violations in the West Bank, resulting in the deaths and injuries of Palestinian civilians.
Early this morning, Sunday, occupation forces executed a drone strike near the Martyrs’ Roundabout, south of Jenin, killing 7 Palestinians.
The victims were identified as Hazza Najeh Hassan Darwish Asous (27), Rami Asous (22), Ahmed Asous (24), Alaa Asous (29), Rizkallah Nabil Asous (18), Muhammad Yasser Musa Asous (25), and Wadih Yasser Asous (18), all from the village of Triangle of Martyrs, located south of Jenin.
The six victims were brutally killed by a strike from an Israeli drone, leaving their bodies dismembered and making immediate identification challenging.
Since initiating its destructive war on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation forces have escalated their operations in the West Bank. This escalation has led to hundreds of deaths, thousands of detentions, and widespread destruction of infrastructure.
Daily incursions, raids, and violent confrontations are a grim reality in various parts of the West Bank, including Jerusalem.
These practices by the Israeli occupation forces often involve shootings and tear gas attacks on Palestinians and are accompanied by frequent settler assaults.
This ongoing aggression in both the Gaza Strip and the West Bank is a flagrant breach of international humanitarian law and human rights, endangering the lives and properties of civilians and inflicting severe suffering.
