Throughout the 67 harrowing days since October 7, the Israeli occupation’s relentless assault on Gaza has resulted in a catastrophic death toll of 18,205 Palestinians, alongside 49,645 wounded. Countless more remain trapped under the debris of residences obliterated by the occupation’s aerial bombardments.
This aggressive onslaught by Israeli occupation forces against Gaza starkly breaches international humanitarian law and human rights standards, imperilling civilian lives, including those of journalists and media workers, and inflicting profound distress and suffering upon them.
The Israeli occupation’s heinous crimes against journalists call for urgent action by the international community and human rights bodies to pursue and hold accountable the Israeli occupation apparatus for these egregious crimes.
