The Israeli occupation army released the 13-year-old Jerusalemite child Iyad Ashraf Dais, from Shuafat town, after 7 months of detention in inhuman detention center.
Dais, who was arrested from his Shuafat home on March 27, was released to be placed under house arrest and had an electronic bracelet tied around his foot.
During his detention, Iyad contracted scabies amid total Israeli rejection to provide him with treatment as part of the Israeli systematic policy of medical negligence.
Palestinian child prisoners are subjected to various forms of violations, including keeping them without food or drink for long hours, directing insults at them, beating them, and detaining them in harsh conditions.
The administration of the prison does not hesitate to treat the children as if they were adult inmates, storming their rooms, sprinkling them with gas, beating them, tying them up, and imposing punishments like isolation and confiscating personal belongings. The occupation authorities also place children in detention centers and prisons that do not meet the bare minimum of human requirements, depriving many of them of their right to education and medical care, and denying them access to clothing, personal belongings, and cultural books.
The Israeli occupation army continues to violate Palestinian children on a daily basis, and their families make fruitless requests to the international community to protect them so that they can live like other children around the world.
