Arab Organisation for Human Rights in the UK (AOHR UK) condemned the Jordanian government for deceiving its people and the Arab and Islamic peoples as well. This comes as the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Jordanian officials condemning the massacres of the Palestinians at the hands of the Israeli occupation in public, while allowing forces of the US, the UK, and other European countries to use its lands and facilitates sending American and European weapons to the Israeli occupation.
The presence of force of the US, the UK, and European forces over the Jordanian lands at this critical time is not a coincidence, as these forces are equipped with defence, attack and spying systems to protect the Israeli occupation which massacres the Palestinian people.
On Tuesday, October 31, 2023, the Muwaffaq Salti base in Jordan received more than 20 military aircraft loaded with all types of weapons to be transported to the Israeli occupation to annihilate civilians in the Gaza Strip with the support of US, UK and other European forces.
The annihilation of the Palestinians is also supported by the failure of the Arab regimes to cut diplomatic ties with the Israeli occupation, with Jordan, Egypt and the UAE being at the forefront of these countries.
Egypt is participating in this massacre by blockading the people in the Gaza Strip through closing the Rafah crossing, while confirming to Western officials that it seeks to change the reality in the Gaza Strip.
Likewise, the UAE has emphasised to Western officials that Israel needs to crush the Palestinian factions, while of course Jordan is playing a significant role in protecting the Israeli occupation and securing the flow of weapons to it.
On October 26, 2023, AOHR UK issued a statement revealing that American aircraft loaded with heavy military equipment and ammunition were transferred to the Israeli occupation through Jordanian lands. AOHR UK called on the Jordanian people to put pressure on their government to stop the flow of American weapons to the Israeli occupation and to sever diplomatic relations with it. It should never be accepted for any Arab regime to participate in an unjust war waged by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people.
AOHR UK called on the European peoples also to put pressure on their governments to stop the export of weapons to the Israeli occupation, especially Italy, Spain, Germany, Belgium, France, Britain, Denmark, and Austria, as the labour unions in Belgium announced yesterday that they refuse arms transfer through their airports to the Israeli occupation.
