On Sunday noon, photojournalist Ibrahim Atta was injured in the foot with IOF bullets, while covering their storming of Deir Abu Mishaal village in Ramallah, west of Ramallah, the West Bank.
During its military patrols, IOF fired live bullets and tear gas canisters at Palestinian citizens.
Media rights groups monitored the commission of 247 violations of the media freedoms in Palestine in the first half of this year, of which the Israeli occupation committed the majority of it with 195 attacks.
The most prominent violations were against Al -Jazeera correspondent Shireen Abu Akleh who was killed on May 11, and journalist Ghofran Warasna of Dream Radio on June 1, 2022.
The journalist Abu Akleh was killed with a bullet in the head while covering the Israeli army storming of Jenin, in the northern West Bank, while the journalist Ghofran Warasna was shot by the Israeli army at the entrance to Al-Oroub camp in the southern West Bank, while she was going to work.
