The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) announced on Saturday that the Hamada family in Gaza City found the little girl Hind, 6, killed inside a car, in which she had been missing for 12 days.
She was killed along with 6 others of her family members, whose bodies were found inside the car as well, including the child Layan. The bodies were decomposing, according to Nebal Farsakh, PRCS spokesperson.
PRCS also announced that its ambulance, which went out to rescue Hind 12 days ago, was found bombed in the Tal Al-Hawa area with the crew, Youssef Zaino and Ahmed Al-Madhoun killed inside.
PRCS accused the IOF of deliberately targeting the ambulance upon its arrival at the site, as the ambulance was found meters away from the car in which Hind was inside. The IOF killed the crew despite prior coordination to allow the ambulance to rescue the child.
On January 29, the Red Crescent ambulance crew went out to rescue the two girls, Layan, 15, and Hind, 6, who were surrounded by Israeli military tanks and soldiers, inside a car with their family members near the Fares gas station west of Gaza City, according to PRCS statement issued at the time.
A day later, PRCS announced the killing of the child, Layan, while talking on the phone with the Red Crescent crew, calling for help, while Hind remained trapped inside the car.
Over the past days, the IOF raided again several areas of the Gaza Governorate, while its military operations and intense air and artillery bombardment continued.
Since last October 7; The Israeli occupation army is waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, which has left tens of thousands dead and wounded, enormous humanitarian conditions, and a major health and environmental catastrophe, as a result of the destruction of vital facilities and the overflow of sewage in large areas.
With the beginning of the war; The occupation cut off all supplies of electricity, water, fuel and food to the residents of the Gaza Strip, bombed bakeries, factories, stores, water stations and tanks, and destroyed the infrastructure.
The Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and human rights, as it exposes the lives and property of civilians to extreme danger and causes them great suffering, which requires urgent and decisive intervention from the international community to stop the aggression and protect civilians in the Gaza Strip.
