The Palestinian security services continue to arbitrarily detain the activist Musab Shtayyeh for the 113th consecutive day, despite obtaining a court order to release him.
A leaked photo of Shtayyeh showed signs of torture on his body, sparking popular and rights condemnation.
The legal advisor, Osama Saad, called for holding accountable all those involved in torturing Musab Shtayyeh, despite a court decision ordering his immediate release.
There is no legal basis for his continued detention as he did not commit any crime to be held on, he said.
F his part; Mosab Shtayyeh’s lawyer Mustafa Shatat warned that Shtayyeh is suffering serious health deterioration.
Last Friday, a leaked letter from Shtayyeh confirmed his difficult health and detention conditions after being subjected to tough investigation.
Shtayyeh was recently transferred to Betunia Prison in Ramallah after his health deterioration in Jericho Prison.
