Israeli occupation forces continue to target defenceless Palestinians with their full arsenal of weaponry, and the storming of Palestinian cities and towns is now a near-daily practice, during which citizens are fired upon, assaulted, and harassed, resulting in a rise in deaths and injuries.
And today, Sunday 11 September, a Palestinian youth from Jenin city, in the north of the West Bank, died, after being shot by Israeli occupation forces last Tuesday.
According to a statement by the Palestinian Ministry of Health, Hamad Mustafa Hussein Abu Jeldah, 24-years-old, died of wounds sustained after being struck by live fire from Israeli occupation forces in Jenin camp, a refugee camp near the city.
Abu Jeldah died in Jenin Governmental Hospital, where he was transferred after being shot.
Abu Jeldah was shot during Israeli occupation forces’ demolition of a home in the camp, which resulted in the death of another Palestinian and the injury of 15 others.
With the killing of Abu Jeldah, the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli occupation forces since the beginning of 2022 has risen to 94.
