On Saturday, June 24, 2023, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the death of a citizen after being shot with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) bullets in Nablus on Friday.
The ministry said that Tariq Musa Khalil Idris, 39, died of his wounds as a result of being shot in the stomach in Askar camp, following which he was transferred to Arab Specialist Hospital where he died.
This tragic incident sheds light on the dangers surrounding the lives of Palestinians under the illegal Israeli occupation, and the inability of the international community to protect the lives of Palestinians or ensuring the safety of civilians.
The killings by the IOF require serious measures to be taken to eliminate these violations and to bring those responsible to justice.
