On Tuesday, March 28, 2023, a Palestinian young man was pronounced dead after he succumbed to a serious bullet injury, he sustained about one month ago during an Israeli military raid that killed and wounded dozens of citizens.
Omair Ghalib died of the injury that he suffered when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed Nablus City and massacred 11 citizens and wounded more than 20 others, on February 22.
With his death, the number of Palestinian citizens who have been martyred since the beginning of 2023 has increased to 91, including 17 children and one woman.
International humanitarian law prohibits targeting civilians and subjecting them to attack, whether a group or individuals and stresses respect for their lives and their physical and mental integrity, and their protection and humane treatment.
