Ofer Israeli Court postponed the trial of the Quds Press reporter in the southern occupied West Bank, Amer Abu Arafa, to next Monday.
Family sources affirmed that Abu Arafa was not brought to trial after jailers “forgot” to bring him from Etzion detention center along with other prisoners.
Adnan attended the court session via a phone video call, his brother Adnan Abu Arafa clarified.
Adnan said that he managed to speak to his imprisoned brother and asked him about the charges he faces. Amer told his brother that he is accused of making interviews with Palestinian factions leaders.
Adnan pointed out that an Israeli official threatened to turn Amer into administrative detention.
Amer also told his brother that he is accused of social media incitement.
Amer Abu Arafa was rounded up July 19, after Israeli forces violently stormed his family house in Hebron.
Over the past month, 44 violations were reported against press freedoms including the killing of the journalist Ghufran Warasna.
