A 19-year-old Palestinian was killed in a settler attack on the occupied West Bank town of Huwara at dawn Friday.
The Palestinian health ministry identified the victim as 19-year-old Labib Dhamidi.
According to the state-run Palestine TV channel, a group of settlers stormed Huwara town under Israeli army’s protection and damaged homes and other property.
One of the settlers shot the 19-year-old, who later died of his wounds in hospital.
Huwara has been the scene of numerous attacks by Israeli settlers in recent months.
Earlier Thursday, an unidentified Palestinian young man was shot dead by the Israeli occupation forces in Huwara town.
This came hours after two Palestinians were killed in a separate incident near Shufa village in the Tulkarem area.
The Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir earlier approved measures to make it easier for certain Israelis to obtain a firearm license.
These serious human rights violations require urgent international intervention to hold those responsible to justice and provide protection to civilians during conflicts.
