Al-Shifa’ Hospital in Gaza announced the death of a Palestinian man who was seriously wounded on 11 May 2021, during the Israeli occupation bombardment on Gaza. The Israeli aggression on Gaza started on 10 May and lasted for 11 days, leaving a great damage in the buildings, houses and infrastructure.
The death of Mahmoud Ammar Abu Jarad from Bait Hanoun, north of Gaza increases the number of deaths in Gaza to 249 deaths, including 66 children, 39 women, 17 elderly, 5 people with disabilities, and more than 1750 wounded.
The Israeli bombardment of Gaza started after a series of attacks on the Palestinians in Jerusalem, the occupied territories in 1948, and the West Bank. This caused a state of instability and chaos in all the occupied Palestinian territories, resulting in 279 deaths, including 69 children and 40 women, and more than 8900 wounded between the Palestinian civilians.
In spite of the truce that both the Israeli occupation government and the Palestinian factions in Gaza agreed on, the Israeli occupation aggression never stopped. As they keep provoking and assaulting the Palestinians by attacking civilians and detaining them, and allowing the Israeli settlers to break into Al-Aqsa Mosque and practice political-religious rituals in it. As well as forcing a closure on Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, which permits settlers to move freely through, and restricts the Palestinians from passing in or out of the neighborhood.
Arab Organization for Human Rights in the UK has sent many calls for the international community to save the Palestinians from the criminal Israeli attacks. Moreover, it asserts that the inequality and oppression acted on the Palestinian people will lead to more chaos in the country and will close all routes for peace among the Israelis and Arabs.
