Anatolia Agency for news has recently published aerial photographs of the Gaza Strip that show the destruction that the Israeli occupation forces caused in Gaza during their recent aggression. The photographs show the rubble piles that were once buildings, houses, and streets of Gaza. The Israeli aggression on Gaza caused massive damage to its infrastructure which requires many years and hundreds of millions of dollars to repair and rebuild.
It is noteworthy to mention that the Israeli government enforces a blockade on the Gaza Strip. This prevents the civilians of Gaza from receiving the medical and material supplies, and fuel to help recover the electrical services in Gaza that were damaged by the Israeli bombs. Furthermore, it impedes the process of rebuilding Gaza and improving its economical state.
The Israeli warplanes intensified their bombardment on agricultural lands, banks, apartments, shops, press offices, clinics and lawyers’ offices, infrastructure, and educational associations during their attack on the Gaza Strip that lasted for 11 days.
The electricity company in Gaza stated that the Israeli bombardment of its main stations caused it a loss of more than 8 million dollars. This creates a struggle for the hospitals and healthcare clinics to help in recovering the people who were wounded during the war. Moreover, it adds to the tragic circumstances of the innocent civilians who are in urgent need of electricity to start recovering what they lost during the war.
In addition, the Israeli occupation warplanes intentionally bombed the main streets and infrastructure of Gaza, which prevented the ambulances and rescue teams from practicing their job. It also restrained the civilians from moving around and seeking refuge in other parts of the Strip. And in an attempt to destruct the educational and technological fields in Gaza, the Israeli occupation warplanes bombed several schools, libraries, and educational and scientific centers.
Furthermore, the Israeli warplanes bombed several buildings that contain headquarters and offices of Arabic and international press, in order to silence the voices of the people of Gaza and to prevent the press from revealing the reality of its aggression and criminality against the innocent civilians.
Arab Organization for Human Rights in the UK condemns the criminal and barbaric aggression on Gaza that targeted residential buildings, health facilities, educational centers, and the infrastructure, and caused the death of hundreds of innocent people. It also calls for the international community to stand against the closure of Gaza in order to ease the miserable circumstances of the civilians. Moreover, AOHR-UK made the following list of the most important buildings and places that were destroyed by the Israeli forces during the recent aggression on Gaza.
