On Tuesday, March 28, the Israeli occupation Forces (IOF) handed the Palestinian citizens demolition notices of Bilal Bin Rabah Mosque in Khashm Al-Darj in Al-Khalil city and gave them a week to appeal.
The area of the mosque is about 150 square meters, and it serves a large number of citizens in Badia and Musafer Yata.
Moreover, today the occupation bulldozers destroyed a commercial building in Deir Balut town, west of Salafit.
The mayor of Deir Balut, Samir Nimr, stated that the occupation bulldozers destroyed livestock lands on an area of 350 square meters, owned by Palestinian citizen Jamil Abdel Wahab Abdallah.
The IOF fired live bullets, sound bombs, and tear gas at the youth who tried to stop the bulldozers, and assaulted two of them, he added.
Since the establishment of the occupation state in 1948, the Israeli authorities have destroyed more than 500 Palestinian villages and towns.
In 2022, the Israeli authorities granted permission for the construction of 12,934 residential units in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, and demolished 318 houses and 583 Palestinian buildings.
