On Tuesday, August 9, 2022, three Palestinians, including a child, were killed when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) violently stormed Nablus City, amid heavy live fire.
The Palestinian Health Ministry identified the victims as Ibrahim an-Nabulsi, Islam Sabouh and 16-year-old Hussein Taha.
40 other residents were injured during the military raid including four life-threatening injuries, the ministry added.
A general strike was declared throughout the city following the bloody raid.
Occupation forces have significantly escalated military raids in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem during the past several weeks, following a green light from the Israeli political officials.
The Occupation Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has recently issued a written order to grant “all security forces full freedom” to advance assaults on Palestinians.
In January 2022, the Israeli occupation has officially allowed its troops to shoot at Palestinians who had thrown rocks or firebombs, even if they do not pose an immediate threat.
