38th Session of the Human Rights Council– Side Event

You are cordially invited to attend a side-event held during the 38th session of the Human Rights Council aiming to focus on the United Arab Emirates’ use of torture and other cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment against women detained in prisons. The panel will consider both the issues and problems facing women in the UAE prisons as well as domestic and international remedies to address these human rights violations.
