On Friday, October 14, 2022, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) shot and killed a Palestinian young man during a raid into the Jenin refugee camp in the West Bank.
The Palestinian Health Ministry affirmed that the Palestinian youth Mateen Dabaya, 20, was killed by Israeli gunfire after being left bleeding for 20 minutes during the raid.
At least 14 others suffered live shot injuries during the raid, including a doctor who was moved to a hospital in critical condition.
The doctor Abdullah Abu Mateen was later proclaimed died of the serious head injuries he suffered during the Israeli armed attack.
Medical sources affirmed that the doctor was directly shot in his head while trying to rescue one of the injured.
Earlier Friday, the wounded prisoner Mohammad Maher Ghawadreh, 17, was proclaimed dead of injuries he sustained during his arrest.
Ghawadreh was detained along with his injured cousin after a fire set in a car they were on board near the Jordan Valley in early September.
Since the start of the year, 170 Palestinians have been killed during Israeli attacks on the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
