Arab Organisation for Human Rights in the UK (AOHR UK) is organising an urgent webinar to shed light on the escalating humanitarian crimes committed under the cover of aid and reconstruction in Gaza—particularly those carried out by the so-called “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation”, an entity accused of corruption, exploitation, and complicity in the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip.
The webinar will also address the recent and deeply alarming abduction of all passengers aboard the humanitarian aid boat Madleen, which was sailing toward Gaza in a peaceful mission to break the suffocating Israeli blockade. Israeli forces intercepted the boat in international waters and forcibly disappeared all activists on board. To date, their whereabouts remain completely unknown, raising serious concerns for their safety and well-being.
Among the webinar’s panellists are the wives of two of the detained activists, who will speak out about their struggle to locate their loved ones and the silence surrounding their fate. The panel will also include UN experts, international legal professionals, and human rights advocates who will examine the legal and moral consequences of criminalising humanitarian support to Gaza and the systemic repression of solidarity missions.
This timely webinar aims to expose the truth behind the façade of humanitarianism used to whitewash complicity in war crimes, while amplifying calls for international accountability and urgent action to locate and release the disappeared activists.
