Arab Organisation for Human Rights in the UK (AOHR UK) is hosting an online webinar titled “200 Days of Genocide in Gaza: A Continuing Catastrophe.” This event aims to highlight the severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza resulting from the blockade by the Israeli occupation and the ongoing mass killings of civilians. The statistics are alarming: over 30,000 civilians have died, with 70% being children and women. Moreover, 90% of the population is now homeless due to the relentless Israeli bombardment, leading to a human-made starvation crisis.
The webinar will also address serious human rights violations against Palestinian prisoners, particularly those arrested in Gaza since the beginning of the war on October 7. These violations, such as improper arrest procedures and torture, are breaches of the Third Geneva Convention and the Convention against Torture.”
