Arab Organisation for Human Rights in the UK (AOHR UK) invites you to a human rights webinar examining the serious crimes and systematic abuses committed against Palestinian detainees in Israeli prisons, which have become increasingly evident following the recent release of detainees’ bodies bearing signs of severe physical torture.
The discussion will address these cases as evidence of a systematic policy of torture and extrajudicial killings carried out by Israeli authorities and will explore the absence of credible investigations and the entrenched culture of impunity that shields perpetrators from accountability, alongside the failure of the international community to take decisive action.
The webinar will also examine the collapse of the health sector in Gaza under the ongoing blockade, which has resulted in widespread deprivation of medical care and essential treatment, reflecting a broader policy of collective punishment against civilians.
The event will feature experts in international law, human rights advocates, medical professionals, and eyewitnesses, who will shed light on the nature of these crimes and discuss mechanisms to activate international accountability and end impunity.
