Arab Organisation for Human Rights in the UK (AOHR UK) is hosting a crucial seminar to discuss the urgent need for the UN Secretary-General to call for an international conference on the relief and reconstruction of Gaza. This discussion takes place in the aftermath of the recently implemented ceasefire, following 15 months of genocide committed by Israel from October 2023 to January 2025.
The seminar will bring together experts and advocates to address the following key issues:
- The UN’s role in initiating an international conference for Gaza’s relief and reconstruction.
- The European Union’s responsibility, given its support for Israel’s actions, and its potential role in facilitating reconstruction efforts.
- The silence of Arab governments and their failure to take meaningful action.
- The stance of Islamic nations and their response to the massacres and humanitarian crisis.
- The need to safeguard the ceasefire agreement against Israeli violations and manipulations.
With leading voices from politics, human rights, and international advocacy, this seminar will provide a critical platform for discussing strategies to ensure accountability, justice, and sustainable recovery for Gaza.
