Arab Organisation for Human Rights in the UK (AOHR UK) is hosting an urgent webinar titled: “Starving Gaza: The Crime, The Silence, The Action Needed”
As the Israeli occupation deliberately starves the population of Gaza—blocking food and medicine, bombing aid convoys, and shooting civilians waiting for bread—famine has become a deadly tool of war. Dozens of children, infants, and elderly people have died from hunger while the international community turns a blind eye.
This is not a natural disaster. It is a crime, orchestrated and sustained by the Israeli regime, and enabled by the silence and inaction of world powers.
The webinar will present documented evidence, legal analysis, and testimonies from the ground. It will focus on urgent strategies to confront this war crime and push for accountability and humanitarian access.
Topics include:
• Starvation as an Israeli war crime in Gaza
• Stories, and forensic evidence of those who died of hunger
• Militarisation of aid and the control of distribution by non-UN entities
• Legal classification of starvation under international humanitarian law
• Concrete steps to break the blockade and save lives
