The Israeli occupation authorities arrested 51 Palestinian women from the Gaza Strip, including elderly women and children, and held them in Damon prison.
Female prisoners from Gaza suffer from abuse and humiliation in the prison all the time and are held in tragic conditions.
Meanwhile, information about the number and health of all detained females from Gaza in all prisons of the occupation remain unknown.
The Israeli occupation continues to subject both male and female detainees from Gaza to enforced disappearance. It also prevents legal teams from human rights institutions from visiting them and checking on their health and detention conditions. It also denies the International Committee of the Red Cross any permit to visit them.
