On Wednesday, June 8, 2022, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) raided homes and detained at least 21 Palestinian citizens in different West Bank areas.
Six Palestinians were rounded up in Hebron, including a child and two ex-prisoners. The detainees were later identified as Abdullah Sharif Ghaith, Abdullah Khalil Ziyadat, Shaher Al-Hayh, Thaer Halahleh, Hamad Muhammad Hamad Abu Ayyash, and Obaidah Ghazi Hassan Adi.
Four other Palestinians were also arrested in Bethlehem, including Jihad Issa Maali, Youssef Elias Farahneh, Elias Muhammad Farahneh, and Abd Kamel Eid Al-Kamel.
Two more Palestinians identified as Basel Hamami and Mahdi Al-Masri were also detained in Nablus.
Three arrests were also carried out in Ramallah and Al-Bireh overnorate. The detainees were identified as Yazan Abu Awad, Munir Zahran and Muhammad Abdel Hafez Sadaqa.
Two brothers were among six detainees arrested in occupied Jerusalem. The detainees include Musa and Marwan Haitham Mustafa, Daoud Mahmoud, Nassim Qalib, Mahmoud Ali Hassan and Muhammad Fouad Tarwa.
4,600 Palestinians are currently held in Israeli jails, including 31 women, 172 children, and 682 administrative detainees.
