Many Palestinian prisoners held inside Israeli occupation prisons have developed chronic diseases, while others have died as a result of the deliberate policy of medical negligence towards the Palestinians.
The last victim of this brutal policy is the prisoner Mousa Abu Mahameed, 40, who died in Asaf Horveh hospital, as a result of medical negligence.
Abu Mahameed was from Beit Tamar, south of the West Bank, and the occupation had arrested him for entering the occupied Jerusalem without a work permit. His health had deteriorated significantly in prison and he was transferred to the hospital until he died this morning.
Since the beginning of this year, many Palestinians have been shot at with live bullets resulting in their death, while others have been arrested by the occupation authorities for entering the lands of the 1948 without a permit.
The total number of Palestinian prisoners in the occupation prisons until the end of July 2022 reached 4550 prisoners, including 27 women, 175 children, and about 670 administrative detainees.
