On Thursday, November 17, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) confiscated 320 dunums of Palestinian lands to expand the Israeli settlements illegally established in Al-Khader, Nahalin and Artas towns in Bethlehem.
Local sources affirmed that an Israeli military order was issued to confiscate 320 dunums to expand Daniel, Eliezer, and Efrat illegal settlements.
The military order will come into effect in 30 days, the sources added.
Around 650,000 Israeli settlers currently live in more than 130 settlements built since 1967, when Israel occupied the West Bank and Jerusalem.
International law regards both the West Bank and East Jerusalem as occupied territories and considers all Israeli settlement-building activity there illegal.
