For the 41st consecutive day, Israeli occupation’s massive carnage continues to claim more lives in the Gaza Strip as its army persists in bombing homes and buildings and targeting civilians systematically.
According to the Government Media Office (GMO), the Palestinian death toll from Israeli ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip has climbed to 11,500 since Oct. 7.
Out of the total victims, 4,710 were children and 3,160 were women, with more than 29,800 others injured, more than 70 percent of whom are women and children.
The Israeli occupation committed 1,200 massacres against the people of Gaza.
GMO pointed out that 3,640 people are still missing under the rubble, including 1,770 children.
It also pointed out that 200 health personnel, 22 civil defense members, and 51 journalists were killed in the Israeli attacks.
The GMO added that 25 hospitals and 52 health centers have ceased operations in Gaza due to Israeli attacks and a shortage of fuel needed to operate power generators. 55 ambulances were also targeted in the attacks.
Along the same line, 71 mosques were completely destroyed, and 162 mosques were partially damaged, while three churches were targeted.
According to the Palestinian estimates, 95 government headquarters were destroyed along with 255 schools, of which 63 schools were out of service.
The statement pointed out that the occupation carried out a “horrific crime” after storming the Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City, demolishing the hospital wall amid large deployment of hundreds of heavy-armed soldiers and snipers.
The Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip constitutes a blatant violation of international humanitarian and human rights law as it exposes civilians’ lives to extreme danger, which requires an immediate international intervention.
During the raid, the Israeli army soldiers violently attacked several sick, wounded, and displaced people, and a number of medical and nursing staff inside.
The statement held the occupation and the international community, topped by the United States, fully responsible for the organized Israeli war crimes against hospitals, civilians, children, and women.
