Arab Organisation for Human Rights in the UK (AOHR UK) called on the US administration and the European Union to work on putting an end to the repression led by Netanyahu against the Palestinians of the 1948 territories, and to carry out their duties in making sure the Palestinians in these areas be treated equally with others.
Since Sunday’s night, heavily armed forces have brutally arrested citizens from their homes and from the streets.
In a media war aiming to spread terror in the Arab community, Israeli media shared news that the authorities intend to carry out a campaign of arrests against 500 citizens, which actually preceded the actual arrests.
The media campaign included terms used with the enemy, including a “bank of targets”, and that the arrests campaign aims to “settle an account,” which further confirms that this is a police and apartheid entity, whose residents do not have equal rights.
The suppression of protests using excessive force and settlers attacking Arab citizens under the protection of security forces, as well as video of security forces storming citizens’ homes and attacking them, confirm that this is a terrorist entity in which Arab citizens are living in danger as their belongings, finances and their souls are not protected.
The image leaders of this entity are trying to market it in the West as being the only democracy in the region has collapsed, especially after the whole world saw of arrests and attacks against citizens who are supposed to be enjoying constitutional rights.
The international community also knows that this occupation relies on a religious ideology in the West Bank, Gaza Strip and Jerusalem, and continues to kill people, cut trees, disrespect holy sites, as well as bombing and besieging civilians in the Gaza Strip to make their lives on their lands impossible, and thus displace them as happened in 1948 and 1967.
The international community and its actors are required to not stand still and silently watch until this occupation entity achieves its goals. They must consider recent and past experiences and provide the required protection for the Palestinian people in all of historic Palestine until the end of this occupation that has destroyed demography and geography.
