As Israel’s genocide in the Gaza Strip continues for the third consecutive week, the death toll climbed to over 9,257 victims, including 3,826 children and 2,405 women.
The Palestinian Health Ministry reported that 23,516 other people were injured so far.
The death toll in Gaza is likely to increase as the Israeli army continues to launch deadly and devastating attacks on different areas.
16 massacres were also carried out in the past 24 hours, claiming the lives of 196 victims, the ministry added.
The Ministry further noted that 997 massacres were carried out against Palestinian families since the start of the Israeli attacks.
According to the medical authorities, 2,100 people are still missing under the rubble, including 1,200 children, while 135 health personnel were killed in the Israeli attacks and 25 ambulances were damaged.
The ministry further stated that 44 medical professionals have tragically died and another 70 have been injured as a result of Israeli forces’ intentional targeting of the healthcare infrastructure.
The health ministry further noted that the Israeli warplanes deliberately targeted 100 health institutions and put 16 hospitals and 32 primary care centers out of service.
The Minister also warned of an imminent health catastrophe, as Indonesian Hospital and Al-Shifa Hospital will be running out of fuel within the coming hours.
The Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip constitutes a blatant violation of international humanitarian and human rights law as it exposes civilians’ lives to extreme danger, which requires an immediate international intervention.
The international community must force the Israeli occupation forces to abide by international human rights and humanitarian laws, mainly protecting the rights and lives of civilians, prohibiting their targeting and preserving their safety, and holding the Israeli leaders accountable for committing war crimes in the Gaza Strip.
