The Israeli occupation continues its genocidal war on Gaza for the 37th consecutive day. The Israeli army relentlessly bombards Palestinian civilian homes in the Gaza Strip, executing appalling massacres.
Since the dawn of this Sunday, dozens of Palestinian citizens have been killed, and many others injured. Israeli bombardment has relentlessly demolished tens of homes, buildings, and residential apartments in various regions of the Gaza Strip, from land, sea, and air. Amidst this assault, thousands of wounded and displaced people are encircled near hospitals in Gaza City.
In a predawn rocket attack, rescue and civil defence teams discovered the bodies of four victims from the Hamdan family’s home in the Al-Sabra neighbourhood.
Israeli warplanes demolished a house in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza Strip, belonging to Abdullah Al-Adini. This attack resulted in the death of three Palestinians and left dozens injured, with more still missing beneath the debris.
In a separate incident, Israeli shelling in east Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip, claimed the lives of ten citizens and injured over 20 others at the Najjar family’s home.
Medical sources confirm the death of three premature infants and five intensive care patients in the Al-Shifa complex due to oxygen shortage. Others hover close to death due to the continuous siege on the complex since yesterday.
In less than 48 hours, five premature infants perished because of medical device failure, a direct result of the power cut at the Al-Shifa complex, now entering its third day.
Israeli tanks stationed themselves near the maternity ward of the Al-Shifa complex today. Their artillery targeted the intensive care unit, causing numerous casualties.
The bodies of dozens of Palestinian civilian casualties remain strewn in and around the complex, unreachable by ambulance crews due to the intensity of the ongoing fire and direct targeting by the occupation forces.
Since October 7th, the Gaza Strip has faced relentless aggression by land, sea, and air. This has resulted in 11,100 deaths, including 8,000 children and women, and approximately 30 Palestinians injured, with many still trapped under the ruins of homes destroyed by Israeli airstrikes.
The Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip flagrantly violates international humanitarian law and human rights, putting civilian lives and property in grave danger and causing them immense suffering. This situation urgently demands the international community’s immediate and decisive intervention to halt the aggression and protect the civilians in the sector.
