The Israeli night raids that targeted the Bekaa and southern regions of Lebanon resulted in nine deaths and eleven injuries, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
The occupation aircraft struck a residential building in the Zahle district town of Karak, killing 12 people initially, the majority of them were women and children.
An Israeli raid on a family’s home in the Bekaa town of Shaath also claimed the lives of nine members of that family.
During its raids this morning, the Israeli aircraft targeted the southern towns of Khirbet Silm, Toulin, and Tayr Dibba.
According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, the death toll from yesterday’s Israeli occupation raids on southern Lebanon was 20 dead and 88 wounded in the Nabatieh Governorate and 18 dead and 183 wounded in the southern governorate.
According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, since last Monday morning, the Israeli occupation army has been waging the “most violent and extensive” attack on Lebanon since the start of the clashes with Hezbollah approximately a year ago. This attack has left 572 people dead, including 50 children and 94 women, as well as approximately 1,848 wounded and roughly 390,000 displaced.
Hezbollah and Palestinian factions in Lebanon are calling for an end to the genocide war that the Israeli occupation, backed by the United States, has been waging on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023. In the midst of widespread destruction and a deadly famine, this war has left over 137,000 Palestinians dead or wounded, the majority of them women and children, and over 10,000 reported missing.
