Israeli settlers’ attacks on Palestinian civilians, their lands, homes, farms, and schools continue, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces (IOF).
On Saturday, April 13, 2023, 5 Palestinians were injured during a settler attack on the village of Abu Falah, northeast Ramallah, West Bank.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) stated that its crews treated 5 injuries to citizens who were beaten by extremist settlers, and 2 injuries were transferred to the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah.
In other settlers attack under the protection of the IOF, a number of Palestinians were also injured with various injuries as a result of attacks on Palestinian citizens, their property, vehicles, homes, and lands in the villages of Beitlo, Umm Safa, Al-Mughir, Battin, Sinjil, Kafr Ain, and Kharbatha, north, west, and east Ramallah Governorate.
Jihad Afif Abu Alia, 25, was killed, and 25 others were injured with live bullets, in a massive attack by armed settlers under the protection of the IOF on the town of Al-Mughayir, adjacent to the village of Abu Falah, northeast Ramallah.
The occupation authorities allow settlers attacks on Palestinians and their property, as they provide help to the official efforts to intensify settlement in the occupied territories.
Immediate intervention by the international community is needed to put an end to these violations and guarantee the rights of Palestinians, including their right to education, security and a decent life.
There are about 666,000 settlers, 145 large settlements, and 140 random settlement outposts (unlicensed by the Israeli government) in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.
