As the Israeli occupation forces persist in the genocidal aggression on the Gaza Strip for the 37th straight day, they continue to commit grave violations in the West Bank cities and villages, leading to the killing and injuring of Palestinian civilians.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health, on Sunday, reported the killing of a Palestinian by Israeli occupation forces gunfire in the northern West Bank, bringing the death count since October 7th to 186.
According to the ministry’s announcement, the General Authority for Civil Affairs confirmed the death of Montaser Mohammed Amin Mustafa Seif, aged 34, who died from wounds inflicted by Israeli forces’ gunfire in the town of Burqa, Nablus district, early Sunday.
With Montaser’s killing, the number of Palestinian deaths in the West Bank has climbed to 186 since October 7th, and the injuries have soared to approximately 2,500.
Simultaneously, the Israeli army conducted extensive overnight raids into Palestinian cities, towns, and camps from Saturday to Sunday, resulting in the arrest of 30 Palestinians.
Daily, across the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, Israeli forces engage in invasive raids and attacks on Palestinian villages and towns. These actions often lead to confrontations, arrests, shootings, and tear gas assaults on Palestinians, alongside repeated settler aggressions.
This ongoing Israeli aggression against West Bank cities coincides with the 37th day of its war on the Gaza Strip, which has claimed 11,100 lives, including more than 8,000 children and women, and over 28,000 injured, not to mention countless others still buried under the rubble of homes demolished in Israeli airstrikes.
The Israeli onslaught on the Gaza Strip and the West Bank is a stark violation of international humanitarian law and human rights, severely jeopardizing civilian lives and property and inflicting profound suffering.
This relentless and brutal aggression by the Israeli forces demands immediate action to hold those responsible accountable. The indiscriminate killing of civilians and healthcare workers is a clear war crime, warranting prosecution and trial of the perpetrators at the International Criminal Court.”
